all premiums have gone up lately. im not into banking and finance but i would ask tantan once in a while about mortgage fees, life insurance rates and pension rates. i like to know how secure we are, if in case something happens in the future (touch wood).

we were fortunate that our first step to the property ladder has been easy. there were lots of mortgage deals about and insurance policies were reasonable (life insurance is required by most banks for mortgage applications). we are going to be applying for a remortgage this year. our 3 year fixed term is ending. hopefully, we’ll find an affordable deal, if not similar to the rate we got, just a little over is acceptable. something that would at least cover the overpayments that we make so we won’t be paying more than we are now.

sometimes i wish i still live with my parents. free food, free accomodation, with matching allowance for everyday expenses! kids, don’t grow up fast!
